"Battle Angel" is based on the Japanese Manga series of graphic novels by Yukito Kishiro. The movie combines the first three books, Ido, Alita, and Hugo. Set in the 26th century, the story takes place 300 years after a societal collapse caused by a major war.
Superman: Man of Steel - Summer 2009
A sequel to the summer 2006 action-adventure. Bryan Singer returns to direct with Brandon Routh again playing Clark Kent/Superman.
AstroBoy - TBA 2009
Set in futuristic Metro City, "AstroBoy" is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. "Thundercats" revolves around a group of humanoid cats (with feline names like Lion-O, Tygra, Panthro and Cheetara) who must flee their planet of Thundera after it's destroyed. Once crash-landing on another planet, Third Earth, they must thwart Mumm-Ra, an evil sorcerer, bent on killing them off.
Warcraft - TBA 2009
Big screen adaptation of popular fantasy video game franchise "Warcraft." The movie will be live-action with a yet to be determined level of CG environments and effects. The story would take place about a year before the events in "World of Warcraft" take place. The film will be told from the Alliance perspective.
